Personally, I used to train in boxing a lot, although I have to admit that I have become a little less active with it lately. However, one thing I cannot deny is the many health benefits that boxing training can offer. And when I say boxing training, I do not mean getting into a ring and fighting or anything like that.
Boxing involves significant improvements in coordination, movement, and endurance. So, if you are looking to improve your physical condition, boxing allows you to do it in a very different way from what you may be used to.

So, if you want to start training at home, a very good option to consider is the MESETAST boxing bag kit. It is quite complete because it basically includes everything you need to train safely.
Of course, you are not going to become Floyd Mayweather by training at home, but you can learn the basics of boxing by practicing what you see in YouTube videos.
It is never a bad idea to learn a little about self-defense, but I always recommend avoiding any kind of physical confrontation. However, in certain situations, there may come a time when we need to use our hands to defend ourselves.
What does this boxing kit include?
As you can see in the image, it includes a punching bag, a pair of 12 oz gloves, hand wraps, a hand strength training tool, coordination training tools, a jump rope, and accessories for safely hanging the punching bag.
So once again, this is a pretty complete kit and a great option for beginners.
Keep in mind that, for logistical reasons, the punching bag comes empty. Otherwise, this kit could easily cost more than $150, compared to its current price of just $59.99.
You can fill it pretty easily with some old clothes that you no longer use. Just cut them into thin strips and start filling the bag. I personally filled a punching bag this way, and it is one of the most recommended methods unless you want to fill it with sand and make it as compact as concrete.
The punching bag measures 4 feet (1.2 meters), so it is a pretty good size to start training. You can begin with gentle movements, practice your stance, and then work on your mobility so you do not look like a robot when throwing a punch.
I would recommend finding a good boxing trainer on YouTube and learning the basic movements first before trying to throw punches with too much force.
